...to the official home page of Troop 450.   We hope that you enjoy your visit and come back often.

 Troop 450 is a "Boy Run" unit and has received the "Quality Unit" award the last eight years in a row.  Our older scouts who have earned positions of leadership and responsibility in the troop plan the meetings, select the outings, and teach the newer boys what it means to be a Boy Scout and help them with rank advancement.

We were chartered in Buena Park in 1968 and have operated continually since then.  Our Troop 450 Charter Organization is the Gordon H. Beatty School HSO.  To access the Gordon H. Beatty website copy the following link and paste it in the Address line on your browser:

New Page Added:
A page for photos of our Eagles and their Projects has been started.  Click here to view the beginnings of what we hope will be a very large Eagle section.

We would love to add as many pictures as possible to this section.  If you have Troop 450 Eagle photos, please send them to Marvin or Mike.

Notes of interest:

 Orange County Council has made a change in the way they refer to the uniform choices.
Class A (full uniform) is now referred to as Field Uniform.
Class B (troop t-shirt with scout shorts or pants) is now referred to as Utility Uniform.

 

 
We Need Pictures!!!  Please send pictures of Scouting events to Marvin or Mike at next meeting to be scanned and returned to you.  Also, I am still looking for photos of our most recent Eagle Scouts.  If you have an Eagle photo you would like to have posted on the site, please send to me at the webmaster address on the left side of this page.
